COURSE SCHEDULE:

Laser courses are scheduled on a quarterly basis. Classes vary from 2-5 days, depending on the course topics and requirements. It is noted that at times there may be a need to change, cancel or reschedule a class due to factors beyond the control of Renew 360 Advanced Laser Institute. All possibilities will be made to maintain the schedule as it is written. A course change that interferes with a Laser Intern’s private schedule will be discussed at the request of the student. The daily schedule may change to accommodate guest presenters & student needs).



Course Description:

Renew 360 Advanced Laser Institute (Institute) program offers a series of laser courses in the sciences and the technical fundamental skills of cosmetic laser application for skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, pigment reduction, vascular, hair removal and laser safety. Dr. Weimin, Medical Director and her staff of certified instructors in both the cosmetic and medical fields has developed a comprehensive educational program of training specifically for the cosmetic and medical personnel. The program includes one or more in the selection of five courses:

  • 40 Hr. Laser Didactic Course
  • 24/10 Laser Hair Removal Course (24 hours to include 10 applications)
  • 24/10 Laser Cosmetic Procedures Course (24 hours to include 10 applications)
  • 8 Hr. Laser Safety Officer Course
  • 24 Hr. Health Professional Laser Didactic Course (Only for Health Care Professionals

The laser curriculum is presented in two phases:

  • Phase 1- 40 hour Didactic
  • Phase 2- 24-hour class with 10 hands-on instruction for hair removal
  • 24-hour class with 10 hands-on instruction for other cosmetic procedures

Upon successfully completing the initial 88 hours of both laser didactic and laser hands-on training and passing the Institute final exam with an 80% or higher, the Laser Intern is granted a Certificate of Completion as a Certified Laser Technologist by Renew360 Advanced Laser Institute and Weimin K. Hu M.D. and can apply for state Certified Laser Technician certification by Arizona Department of Health Services.

The Laser Intern is prepared to enter the workforce as a competent Certified Laser Technician seeking entry-level employment utilizing a variety of cosmetic laser devices.

Certification Title: Certified Laser Technician (CLT)


Course Methods:

The class format is presented as On-Demand through a series of webinar-based classes are presented in one to one and half hour audio presentations for entry level of laser education. Each presentation will be accompanied with handout notes and chapter quiz at the conclusion of the class. The hands-on instruction will allow the Laser Intern to participate in the daily activities of a real working laser medical practice. A variety of laser devices will be utilized to execute cosmetic laser procedures on actual Patient Models that are scheduled for all types of cosmetic laser procedures from hair removal to skin rejuvenation to tattoo removal. All skin conditions, including acne grades 1 & 2 and symptoms of aging skin are addressed.

All classes presented are within the clocked hours of the Institute's curriculum. The 40-hour didactic course is presented with a sixty-day timeframe to be completed. Class presentation is delivered through audio webinars On-Demand.

  • 100% on campus attendance for 10 hands-on of all other procedure applications
  • All Assignments must be completed with a minimal passing score of 80%
  • Student must participate in both theory and practical classes
  • Student must complete the Institute Final Exam with a minimal passing score of 80%
